Future Top Producer Joey Souza Joins Hunter Rowe!

Meet Joey!

I was born and raised in CA. My whole family moved to Raleigh with me 7 years ago when I was recruited for track and field at UNC. Last year I got married, and my wife and I have a ton of similar hobbies. We are both big fans of spike ball, burn boot camp, sand volleyball, and playing Settlers of Katan.

I love the diversity of activities North Carolina has to offer. It’s awesome just living a few hours away from the mountains and the beach, and there’s a decent city life as well. Our favorite vacation spot is Sunset beach, which is just north of Myrtle Beach.

How did you get into real estate?

“I knew that I wanted to be in sales, however, I wanted to sell something that I really believed in and to serve clients well. After brainstorming how to combine the two, I landed on real estate. Working by referral allows me to work with people I love and care about and build relationships.

It is so fulfilling to help people with one of the biggest purchases they will ever make.

As a competitive and outgoing person, I am diving head first into the industry. It’s crazy to see the knowledge growth I have had so far, and I cannot wait to see where I can grow a year from now.

Why did you join Hunter Rowe?

“I joined because of the people that comprise Hunter Rowe. The firm is structured so that everyone has the ability and time to care for one another. People at other firms care, but there’s rarely time provided to invest in newer agents. At Hunter Rowe, everyone encourages me and truly wants to see me succeed.

The mindset at most firms is to work all the time, whereas Hunter Rowe emphasizes working smarter, so you can also spend time with your family and do what you love outside of real estate. With the systems and priorities that are in place, I am set up to build an amazing work life balance.”
