Our initial introduction meeting with Laura was what “sold” Sarah and I on working with her.  She outlined a defined process and set clear next steps. She asked us to meet with a mortgage broker and research neighborhoods before we looked at any homes in person.  The agent who we interviewed beforehand (who was very experienced) treated that meeting more informally.

Laura integrated her team members in the process and set expectations about who to contact.  I felt like I knew who to contact when I had questions, and everyone I spoke with was very helpful.

Sarah and I felt that Laura represented our interests first without negatively impacting the relationship between us and the builder.  When the pre-drywall inspection wasn’t ordered and the sellers agent wanted to allow Wake County inspection to suffice, she was able to push back and quickly schedule her inspector.

One thing that surpassed our expectations was the email Laura sent early in the relationship outlining the neighborhoods to consider and her thoughts on the builders (if she had experience working with them).  This communication allowed us to take what seemed like an infinite number of homes and distill it down to a small manageable list, after we worked through each neighborhood.

Laura’s expertise was invaluable, and we could not have asked for a better partner in the process!
