Rachel Whalen

Born and raised in Western/upstate New York (Go Bills! Seriously, why aren’t the goal posts wider?), I found true grit and work ethic while living on my own since I was 17. Eventually I found my way to the bustling streets of the New York City area before realizing I craved more space and made the vibrant Triangle area my home for over 18 years.

Originally, I ventured into the Raleigh area as a teacher following the completion of my MA in Education. I bring a unique blend of experiences to the table. With a decade of teaching experience and six years of serving as a real estate paralegal I’m armed with patience, passion, and know-how of real estate.

I live in Raleigh with my husband, 3 children and small but mighty teacup Chihuahua, Dolly Pocket. In my spare time I love hiking our local nature trails, paddle boarding, training at Krav Maga, working on a creative project at home, attending my children’s live theatre productions and volunteering with Hospice.
