I moved here to the Triangle in 1980 when I was in the sixth grade. Though it wasn’t my decision to move here, per se, I did make the decision to stay here! There is no other place I could imagine calling home. My advice to newcomers is to not believe what people who aren’t from Durham tell you – it truly is the heart of the Triangle. And, you have to pick a side – Duke or Carolina, even if you cheer for a team from your hometown.
Brock & Meece, PA is a local law firm. My top tip for success is to put people and/or your clients first. We care about our community and the people of the community we live in, and we attribute that to much of our success. My favorite things to do in the Triangle are to go to Durham Bulls baseball games, shows at the Carolina Theater, and check out the many downtown Durham restaurants, bars, and clubs. My favorite restaurant is The Angus Barn.
