I moved back to the Triangle in 2005, from Virginia, to be closer to our friends and family. My wife and I are both originally from the area. Plus, the quality of life, reasonable cost of living, and opportunities in terms of jobs and education are hard to find elsewhere. We chose Falls River because it is a growing family oriented neighborhood close to the Beltline, shopping, and medical care.
My advice for newcomers is to think about what you spend most of your time doing and how your life will change over the next three to five years. Then find a location with amenities that fit.

My top tip for success is to get involved in both professional organizations and community groups to connect and help people. My favorite things to do in the Triangle are to attend UNC basketball games, concerts at Walnut Creek, and Durham Bulls baseball games. My favorite restaurants are The Pit, Trali Irish Pub, and Coquette in Raleigh, and Watt’s Grocery and Backyard BBQ Pit in Durham.
