We sold our existing home and purchased a new home with Adrienne’s help this year, and things couldn’t have gone smoother. We’re a family of two millennials who knew nothing about real estate, the Triangle area, or what we really wanted other than a little bit more space. From our initial conversation, Adrienne helped answer the many questions we had in an informed, yet approachable, way that helped get us started on the path to our new (and much preferable) home.
Adrienne helped talk through disagreements between my wife and I, convinced me that my wife wasn’t being too picky when I was considering settling for houses that were “OK”, and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her or her staff when we said “no” or wanted to visit more houses on the market. As someone who is inclined to go with something “good enough”, we really appreciated her sincere intent on finding the perfect home and neighborhood for us.
Our previous condo sold quickly for exactly what she thought it would, which was higher than we expected. During that process, Adrienne helped us negotiate the purchase of our new home on a tight deadline. She explained the small details of due diligence, real estate norms, and all the other little things that usually add up to confusion for home buyers. Adrienne also put us in touch with home inspectors, lawyers, mortgage lenders, and various other contacts who were as professional and friendly as she is.
Finally, Adrienne is just pleasant to be around. She’s fun, loves our cats, sets the bar for being a stylish “cool mom”, and meeting with her to discuss real estate and hear stories about her family would often be the best part of our day (this was a 2020 purchase so the bar was lower, but still). All in all, we’re incredibly happy that we made the choice to get Adrienne’s help, and we would recommend her without a second thought.
