I’ve worked with a lot of lenders, and Steve Hobbs, owner of the local branch of Alcova Mortgage, is the best there is.
He’s honest, and he’s glad to spend time answering questions and comparing different loan options. Steve will get you a great rate, but at the same time, keep in mind there is more to a loan than the rate. Seventy-five percent of my buyers use Steve because after talking with him, they trust him. Be wary of lenders who quote you a lower rate than Steve. There is usually a catch and you may get surprised after it’s too late to recover.
