I’m originally from West Virginia and college had taken me from Athens, Ohio to Atlanta and then to St. Louis. After graduation in 2005, I moved to the Triangle to work and finally found a place to call home. My wife and I live in the Brier Creek area of Raleigh. It’s a convenient location to both of our jobs and there are a number of shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby.

There are a lot of unique areas all around the Triangle. My advice to newcomers is to take the time to experience the charm of each area and find out which ones fit your personality the best.

I’m a chiropractor. At Premier Chiropractic we provide treatment for musculoskeletal complaints – problems with the muscles, nerves and joints – without the use of drugs or surgery. We often work in conjunction with other healthcare practitioners to provide the best care for our patients. I encourage everyone to stay as active as possible. There are many different options in the area such as parks, greenways, and gyms to help people live healthy, active lives. It’s probably not the best business advice but it could help people avoid a trip to my office!

My top tip for success is don’t be afraid of hard work. My favorite thing to do in the Triangle is trying out the diverse dining options the area has to offer. Of the restaurants I’ve tried here, my favorite is Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern, which is in a restored historic home in downtown Raleigh.
