We are in the process of relocating back to the Triangle area from Marin, CA. In true referral fashion, colleagues at my new firm gave us Kristin’s name. We literally had no idea who she was and she didn’t know us. I have been working in Raleigh for the past 6 months while my wife and children remain in California finishing school. Kristin began to get to know us and our likes and dislikes. As Tarheels, me wife and I were determined to find our dream home in Chapel Hill. I was having Kristin travel from North Raleigh to Chapel Hill almost every other day to look at homes. We toured homes with my wife on FaceTime – obviously not ideal when you are trying to service clients – but Kristin spent as much time as needed to make my wife as comfortable as possible answering all of her questions over the phone. With kids graduating high school and preparing for college and trying to find the best schools for our 11 year old son, Kristin could sense we were getting a bit anxious as our search was not going as easy as we had assumed it would. We almost settled on a home that would have been ok, but clearly was not what we had imagined. With our best interests at heart not letting us make a mistake, we walked out of the house and Kristin said what for me will be infamous, “give me 2 more weeks.” So we passed on the house and as she predicted, we found our dream home in Chapel Hill within the week. With me focused on my new job and my wife focused on wrapping up our life in California, Kristin handled everything. With Kristin’s guidance, my wife had comfort we had found “the one” without ever physically seeing the house herself. We could not be more grateful for Kristin in our move, and we look forward to referring everyone we know to her for their home buying or selling needs.
