About Carrie:
You won’t find a more diverse story than Carrie Schlegel’s. After graduating Penn State with a major in Environmental Resource Management, she worked in a radioactive chemistry lab testing urine samples for radioactive contamination (honest to goodness). From there she progressed further into the science field specializing in logistics for a disposal services company and then into high-tech manufacturing. When she started a family, Carrie decided a change was in order. While raising three girls took top priority, Carrie rarely had a week when she wasn’t doing something else. She worked part time and developed a love of working with people through personal training at a local gym and as an Independent Director for Thirty One Gifts. However, as time passed, it was time to make another change and merge her logistics and interpersonal skills by joining Spencer Properties as a Client Services Coordinator.
As you might imagine, Carrie’s interests and hobbies are varied too — split between running, painting and going on adventures with her family. Notably, she’s a “Cook of Intuition”, using recipes only as a source material for her signature take on flavors and foods.
With three small children, Carrie calls on her boundless energy to balance work, play and family. Still her fantasy with is simple — just someone to do the laundry and clean the house, please!
