I moved to the Triangle in 1988. My advice for newcomers is to get connected. The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is one of the best ways to meet key business leaders in the local area. Also, the City Club of Raleigh is where industry, professional, and civic leaders gather in the state capital for meaningful business connections and vibrant social activity. I hold leadership and volunteer positions with both of these organizations, as well as the Wake County Community Foundation.

On the professional side, I represent Kelaca, where our core focus is “redefining recruiting through the exceptional experience.” Our client is our niche and we provide full-service professional recruiting for select partners. I am interested in meeting hiring managers at companies who have between 50 and 250 employees, are growing, and have a values-based culture. We also understand that job transition can be very challenging for many people. We dedicate time and effort to giving back through our involvement with several Executive in Transition groups where we do business. Our account managers are client-focused and we have recruiters that support our six divisions.

My top tip for success is to be a GIVER – think about how you can help someone else and do what you can to make it happen for them. Be a CONNECTOR – leverage your network of contacts to help others. Be PROACTIVE – go above and beyond. My favorite things to do in the Triangle are attending NC State football games, touring historic Oakwood, visiting state museums, and spending time with friends and business associates at the City Club of Raleigh. My favorite restaurant is the Angus Barn.
