I moved to the Triangle after visiting friends who were attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I just fell in love with college and the whole area. The Triangle is so diverse and interesting! Each area has its own personality – And they’re always changing. We are also beautifully situated for adventure and geo-diversity being right between the beach and the mountains. My advice for newcomers is to check out the Indy Weekly. Local music, restaurants, community events, happenings . . . You can find it in the Indy.

My top tip for success is to live by this saying: “It’s better to ask the right questions than to have all the answers.” My favorite thing to do in the Triangle isto go local outdoor music events. Every area has a music festival or two each year. My favorite restaurants are Mateo Tapas and Taberna Tapas in Downtown Durham. I’m really into tapas right now!
