My wife, my daughter, and I moved to the Triangle in May of 2009. We moved here from Northern New Jersey because we were attracted to the lower cost of living, warmer temperatures, slower pace of life, and overall, a friendlier general atmosphere. My advice to someone moving here would be to come with high expectations for a good quality of life.
My organization is Lucid Impact. We offer web design and development services. Our goal is to make sure an organization’s web site is attractive and inviting, as well as easy to use, both by the visitors and the business owners. We have many friendly, courteous, and hardworking small business owners here in the Triangle. Our goal at Lucid Impact is to make sure that everyone we work with has a strong web presence with plenty of visitors!
We love speaking with small businesses either moving to the Triangle or already established here to find out what’s working in their marketing efforts and what could be improved. If we think we can be of assistance with their web site, we’ll do everything we can to help.
My top tip for success is to know who you want to be doing business with and speak to those people. If you try to appeal to everyone, you’ll end up appealing to no one. Our favorite thing to do in the Triangle is barbequing at the local parks and lakes. Our daughter does most of the swimming! To pick our favorite restaurant is a tough one! The Q-Shack is up there, along with Wang’s Kitchen and Shuckers Grill and Oyster Bar.
